This tissue paper is .001 thick, with an alkaline buffer of 3.5% calcium carbonate which helps to prevent acid migration. Buffered tissue is stiffer and more opaque than unbuffered tissue, and is ideal for wrapping cellulose textiles such as cotton or linen.
